How It All Started
Cape Runamuck has been the Burt family's summer anchor for decades. Tucked away on Cape Cod, it's the place where people meet for the first time, where you discover the ocean, and where the screen door never quite latches right — and nobody minds.
The name came naturally. Any given afternoon at the house involves at least one person running through the yard, someone losing a flip-flop in the dunes, and a general cheerful chaos that defies any attempt at a schedule. Runamuck felt right.
Over the years the house has been updated, repainted, and rearranged — but the spirit stays the same. Salt air, bare feet, and the particular happiness of having nowhere else to be.
